
Brief Introduction of Anti-corrosion of FRP Flake
Glass fiber reinforced plastic flake anti-corrosion coating, as a waterproof anti-corrosion protection layer. Glass fiber reinforced plastic anti-corrosion is the use of epoxy resin, vinyl resin or unsaturated resin, glass fiber cloth, fiber felt and its accessories deployment uniform, the construction surface, concrete or metal surface corrosion comprehensive coating construction, to achieve anti-corrosion design standards. Before construction, the surface of the substrate should be polished clean without dust, oil stains, cement slurry and other debris. The concrete surface shall meet the cleaning standard of St2 or St3.
Next, paint the primer, which can increase the adhesion and anti-corrosion effect of the paint. According to the environmental conditions and product instructions, the curing agent and diluent are added to the primer in proportion and stirred evenly. Apply a layer of primer evenly on the surface of the substrate, taking care not to coat or sag.

Add the curing agent according to the proportion of the product specification and stir evenly with the glass fiber reinforced plastic flake coating. Then use a trowel or scraper to evenly apply a FRP flake coating on the surface of the substrate, with a thickness of about 0.8mm ~ 1mm, and roll defoaming and inspection after each application. After curing one coat (at an interval of not less than 24 hours), apply the next coat and then apply the topcoat. The topcoat can improve the weather resistance, aesthetics and decoration of FRP flake coatings. Add curing agent in proportion and mix well with topcoat. Apply a layer of finish coat evenly over the FRP flake paint. The topcoat shall be applied after the FRP coating is cured (at an interval of not less than 24 hours) and inspected after curing.
